About Jackie Fullerton

Jackie was born just before the age of the “Baby Boomers”, but that didn’t stop her from acting like one. She challenged authority from the time she could form her first word – “WHY?”

She was always a good student but her teachers told her mother they could not keep her challenged.  Bored, she supplemented her school day by passing notes to fellow classmates – she was always a blooming author. At one time her note writing became so prolific that her third grade teacher confiscated every piece of writing paper from her desk.  Undaunted, she reverted to individual sheets of toilet paper she smuggled out of the girl’s bathroom.  She was exacerbated -- do you have any idea how hard it is to write notes on toilet paper?

At age ten she started writing a series of stories about a gang of woodland creatures.  The ring leader was a skunk named Susan who would always “save the day”. Most of these "early works" have been lost, but the seeds of a budding author, although they lay dormant for a few years, had already been planted.

Jackie returned to college later in life, after the kids were fairly grown and self sufficient – if being able to make yourself a peanut butter sandwich is self sufficient.  She received a BA in Business, an MBA, and a Juris Doctorate.

She is now able to return to her first love – writing.  Her stories have moved from Susan Skunk and the Woodland Gang to Anne Marshall and her ghostly sidekick.

Jackie is a successful businesswoman and attorney in Columbus, Ohio where she lives with her husband, Tom, and dog, Flash.
